After 32 years, Microsoft removes MS Paint from Windows versions

Microsoft may be looking at phasing out its MS Paint application. It is highly unlikely that any Windows user did not hear or use MS Paint as the program was part of the operating system for 32 years long. According to a report from The Guardian, the company plans to remove the application after developing a new MS Paint 3D application.

The decision to introduce MS Paint 3D to introduce new features would work well and enable users to create a 3D environment along with working with 2D dimensions with the help of virtual reality headphones. The report details indicated that MS Paint is no longer actively developing and can be removed in future releases.

One thing to note here is that MS Paint is not the only application that will be stopped. According to the list, it joins Paint, Outlook Express, Reading List, and Reader App as one of the applications that will be removed from future versions of Windows. Microsoft also did not disclose the date when MS Paint will be removed from Windows but adding it to the list has confirmed that its demise is inevitable.
